Shoot, I was less concerned about Borges than I was about any other offensive coordinator. If they get a spread offense in place then it could be a long day for our defense.
:yes:He's the goat for their mediocre season
:yes:Jason Campbell, Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams would make any OC look like a genius.
 unfortunately for some. there are very few coaches in college football that can take mediocre talent and win anything of signficance in the SEC. the same argument can be made for John Chavis. give him Albert Haynesworth, John Henderson, Darwin Walker, Al Wilson, Deon Grant and he's a great DC. give him this year's D and he should be fired. While that is true, coaching at a big time school doesn't allow room for excuses for such a declining trend in production. It is what it is. At least at some schools.
you can only do what you can do with what you have. this guy was, at one point, credited with turning around Auburn....he was the "next great thing". all the talent goes away, and it is what it is.But part of that falls under his realm of duties. It is his job to evaluate and sign kids that he feels will succeed.
 which tells me more about Tommy T than simply making a change at OC.Borges has been stuck with a terrible QB for the last two years. If Cut leaves, I say get on the phone (simply because as long as CPF is here, we are stuck with plod and trod).
This transition will end up being much more about a scheme change than it is about individual performance.
