LOL....I met Cas once when I worked at a sporting goods store in East Knoxville. He came in to buy a hunting license and I waited on him. He told me a couple of stories that would have ruined his business if they had been public knowledge. He was a character.
Cas was quite the entrepreneur. Located his stores in lower social settings. Would cash your welfare check in a heartbeat. Those communities loved him. Not a racist, but remember those cute black kids eating watermelon. Try to get that commercial on TV today.

I went to middle school with the black kid who was in the watermelon commercial. Seems like his name was Leonard....can't remember his last name. Yep those were different times. Can't say I miss them though.

Speaking of CAS, any of you old timers remember the wrestler Ron “warp you head off” Wright.
