...is blowing up with love from the players and fans. Gilliam, Maggitt, Weatherd, and even Aaron Medley have tweeted at him about missing him for the bowl game. And the linebacker pic holding up the 4-5 is now his background pic. He hasn't said much himself, but he is clearly being supported. See for yourself @aj_thebeast_45

I was noticing that as well! He done a lot for this program! And kept his reputation clean for the majority of his career! My all time favorite vol! He played hard every down even under Dooley!

It's only fitting that we put up 45 points for @aj_thebeast_45

Hopefully the court will decide this case . Not the few that have already branded this man guilty . I did however notice , we stopped trying to score at 45 .

DEAL WITH IT .

Yeah... Talk about setting the bar low.

I think the operative word is majority but yeah, it's a pretty low bar considering.

I haven't seen any updates on AJ's legal status so I'm assuming that the DA and police are still building a case but just taking their time? I've had a number of bad experiences with KPD officers but I'm glad they don't have the same hometown bias that police in some other college towns seem to have.

This is not an accomplishment ^^

AJ made/crapped his own bed. Now he gets to sleep in it.

Dude shutup. You are as lame as they come. Kids in college drink some get caught some don't. If this girl is found to be lying on him then what do you have to say then?

You probably one of the guys who immediately jumped on the Paulk story as well. Grow a pair and develop a mind of your own and stop believing everything the media feeds you.

Dude is a college athlete who's going to the league. Do you really think he has to rape some girl to get sex? Be serious man.

Doesn't matter what I think.

AJ put himself in the position to:

1) be scrutinized
2) go to jail
3) lose millions of dollars in future income

I hope nothing happened, but no one but AJ, Mike and those 2 girls know what really went down.

He put himself in this position - that is a fact.

It really pissed me off that he had to sit our any games at all. INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. Does that not mean anything?

I love a good conspiracy. Did CBJ tell Dobbs not to score a touchdown towards the end of the game so we could kick a field goal to make it 45? Sounds crazy right? I know it does but three straight running plays for Dobbs with no real misdirection read action or fakes? On one of the plays I think 2nd down it look like Dobbs could have walked into the end zone but he seemed to just stop and wait to get tackled. Ok honestly I don't believe any of this myself but what if?

A decade ago he probably would have kept playing. In this day and age, you immediately become the program future parents won't respect. IF it's proven that he's guilty, not only will future parents already know that Butch and Co. let a rapist keep playing, but all the other programs will be able to remind those parents of that fact. IF it's proven that he's innocent, those same coaches will remind those future parents that Butch Jones let multiple players accused of rape continue to play. Then they'll ask how they'd feel if their daughter accused a player of rape and the coach just let them keep playing. Innocent until proven guilty has no jurisdiction over the court of public opinion. As a head coach of a major football program, you have to play to public opinion before anything else.

Would not go to grand jury if what you are saying is/are the only thing(s) that happened.

yes it would. if DA had hard(no pun) facts the grand jury would never see this..imo

Would not go to a grand jury if the DA and/or police had definitive evidence to make an arrest or issue charges themselves. The whole grand jury thing is as much in AJs favor as anything. Because he'd be in jail right now otherwise.
