Johnson and Williams were arraigned Monday after being indicted last month by a grand jury. Trial was set for Aug. 24.

Johnson and Williams were suspended from Tennessee's football team in November, one day before Knoxville police named both as subjects of a rape investigation. Johnson has since graduated and completed his eligibility.

Williams lawyer David Eldridge insisted Monday his client is "innocent of the charges and we'll defend them in court." Johnson's lawyer also says his client is not guilty.

Good for them! Stick to their guns! I wouldn't take a plea deal either if I didn't rape someone.

Of course! If even one person abuses a system we must abandon it!

On a slightly different front, I know several families who agree with everything you've said here, and argue it even more vehemently, but use their food stamps every month and go to the clinic for health care.

The whole JW allegation and FSU's handling of it was a shame, disgusting LMAO fail. Now it looks like JW may be the #1 pick in this years NFL draft !! :furious3::thud:

CBJ's handling of the AJ Johnson allegation may/maybe not have been the right thing to do, but was really the only thing he could do. Hated for AJ's career to end like it did after all the good he did for the program. If found guilty he will have to pay the price.

Like it or not we put these athlete's on a pedestal and some (unfortunately) think they can get away with anything. Hours and hours are spent talking to, counseling them on what to do and not to do. For a parent of a potential recruit CBJ's no tolerance is a big plus IMHO.

Does saying NO after the incident when one changes their feelings and sobriety still mean NO? Even though before and/or during the incident they were saying YES? :unsure:

Just making sure I understand the meaning of NO.

:hi: Might consider using a late pick if a owner. With all the baggage he brings I would be very apprehensive. Mediocre QB IMHO.
Very little competition in conference. Played against few top 10 teams in his career. Had more luck of the Irish than skill.
Major point tho ........... should not have even been playing in 2014. But what would you expect from FSU?

To me, being under the influence of anything & you're taken advantage of, that's still rape.. If the man was stupid enough to have his way with a woman that's drunk, shame on him!

Yes true, but what about when the man is also under the influence. No his judgement becomes cloudy as well.

Attempt at rape humor? It isn't funny.. whether a man, child, senior citizen, anyone is raped whether they be under the influence of any substance or attacked, it isn't funny.....No one should make fun of rape... 6 week old little girls have been raped, think that's funny, you KNOW that?
