The history behind white women and non white men is not pretty. I've known several non white men be accused and charged for rape, only to be acquitted. So forgive me if I don't believe the alleged victim. This legal system does not necessarily search for the truth.

I'd say acquitted is the key word. You may also want to change who you hang out with. We don't live in the 50s

If false they should be put in prison. They should receive the same punishment the man would receive if found guilty.

Make no mistake, if guilty he should be lock away with no chance of parole. But if she is lying then she should recieve the same sentence.

I am gonna put this out there. After the HATE and ASSUMED guilt by a lot of you people...What if Josh Smith was the one being accused? Would your responses and replies be the same?

I haven't convicted anybody, but if I was forced to choose which is the "victim" at this point, I would lean toward it being the girl.

What's the difference between the 50's and 10 years ago? Not a damn thing. The history of our great country has shaped our present.

For the record, I live 30 minutes from Gainesville GA. 5 minutes outside of Gainesville GA is a ranch style house with KKK figurines in the yard surrounding an African American figurine. So yeah, the 50s are alive and well in GA.
