AJ Johnson/Michael Williams Case (merged)

This pisses me off so much. Why? Why would anyone in AJ's position even put themselves in that situation. He had a bright future playing on Sunday. Not only does it reflect badly on him, it also put UT in a bad light.

I know he has not been found guilty, this is just a horrible situation all around.

How does his actions put UT in a bad light? CBJ handled the situation swiftly and decisively, like a leader/head coach should. It's not like UT hindered prosecution or he was allowed to stay on the team.

The Tennessean is having a field day with all of the sexual assault allegations levied at Vols players lately. Marlin Lane, A.J./Michael Williams, Riyadh Jones, and even Yemi's case from 2 years ago are all signs that the entire athletic department under Hart's watch is out of control, according to their reporters.

My honest opinion on this is CBJ handled it correctly but should have had a tighter leash on current players repping the "4-5 Fingers" in pics for the tax slayer bowl. I know the team loved the guy but if a rape investigation is on going Butch should of told the players to keep all opinions to themselves.

Y'all do realize that he was indicted and that's what happens when someone is indicted. It has nothing to do with guilty or innocence

this really doesn't change anything. Just like he has the whole process, he's cooperating with authorities. Most cases that go before a grand jury get indictments. Now it's time for his trial to actually get somewhere.

This one may be harder to prove unless once again phones and camera's were used. Only other thing would be the other victim not charging has anything useful to help the victims accusation.

How many of those players were arrested and convicted? How many of those players are Butch Jones guys?

Two things will happen here. If found guilty 95% of the board will say he deserves what he gets. The other 5 will claim bs. If found not guilty 95%, will confuse that with innocent, and demand the girl be tard and feathered. Oh and they will give Butch crap.

It has to be a sinking feeling, remanding yourself into custody. Especially considering the Vandy mess.

Headline reads that AJ was released on $40,000 bond.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office issued a release saying Johnson had turned himself in Tuesday and was released on $40,000 bond. Suspended Tennessee defensive back Michael Williams also is charged with aggravated rape.

Not sure exactly what it means, but I figured it was somewhat relevant.

Hate for AJ, but if he is guilty then he was wrong.
