The Knoxville Police Department says Johnson was sitting at a traffic light at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Neyland Drive just before 1:30 a.m., and did not drive forward once the light turned green.
A KPD officer checked on the 2007 Chevy Tahoe, and found Johnson in the vehicle with bloodshot eyes, smelling out alcohol and marijuana, according to a KPD report.
After allegedly failing a field sobriety test, Johnson was arrested and charged with first offense DUI, failure to exercise due care, implied consent and simple possession.
