I do. Because if this is a false claim these guys shouldn't lose anything. If it is found that they did commit these crimes then they go to prison and it really doesn't matter that they played in the game. Think if it was your son.

Butch has WAY more information than you do. And it is enough that he felt it warranted the suspensions.

I believe that he is taking the right approach.

Coaches have to think of the university first. They can't allow the bad press of one or two players guilty or not, tarnish the whole school. Sad, but its how it should be.

It's over man. These things take months to resolve. Only two games left. We've seen the last of AJ unfortunatelyyou can't let a guy whose been accused of rape to continue with your program. Rape and murder are on the pretty close to the same playing field in my opinion. If you're accused of murder, then you're gone. Same should be the case with rape. Regardless if he's guilty, AJ put himself in a bad situation and now he's cost his team and met the entire program down.

They get the same suspension for violating student code of conduct laws, so it is done.

This is the exactly logic you'll receive from people who don't believe in innocent until proven guilty. Bad press only comes from people drawing conclusions without knowing the entire story. A person should be innocent until proven guilty for everything.

It's a matter of making a decision based off what's best for the program, long term. Not an individual player, short term.

Even if found innocent, Johnson and Williams put themselves into a situation where they should have had the maturity not to allow themselves to be involved. A high profile individual is a target and have to conduct themselves accordingly. Both individuals left Coach Jones with little choice in the matter.

Coach has more info than the public, but even if he believes AJ is not guilty, he and TENNESSE cant take a chance, be a shame if he was not guilty, just might have bigger effect on the program if he played and was guilty.

Ideally yes, suspension or any school/team disapline should wait until the legal process has played out. Sadly in today's era of overreaction and trial by media a school can't take the chance. Too much to lose with sponsorships and donors.

Jones has his own reputation to protect and the programs as well. Its a damn if you do, damn if you don't situation. If he plays these two and later either or both is found guilty that will stay with Jones and this program. In this case he has more to care about than just 2 players, I hope these allegations are false and everyone is cleared but until then CBJ has handled this in the best possible way.

why would the other girl not call the police while by herself if she had been assaulted and her friend got raped for 45 mins in another room?

I said this last night. if the other girl was there while it was happening, she would have known. and, could have called the cops right then.
