Bottom line.... I would rather have Clausen in the SECC last year. With him we win.
lol so now that your argument of statistics is broken, you go on gut instinct that Clausen is better.
So before when you said the stats speak for themself, now you're saying they don't?
Keep peddling backwards, your arguments keep helping me.:clapping:
And to whom ever said that Clausen's stats were better than Ainge's are you blind?
I just looked at them, and Ainge's are better than Clausens across the board. For his career, and if you take their best seasons and compare.
Clausen career stats
Total yards: 8234
TD's: 60
Erik Ainge career stats
Total yards: 8700
TD's: 72
Clausens best year 2003:
Completion %:56.6%
Yards:2968
TD's:27
Int:9
Rating:134.32
Ainge's best year 2007:
Completion %:62.6%
Yards:3522
TD's:31
Int:10
Rating:135.48
You are incorrect on your stats...Here are the correct stats right from utsports.com. Now what do you have to say for yourself?

Your whole arument was based on your incorrect "stats." Now what will you base your argument on?
IMO Clausen had as much talent as ainge but good ole randy sanders made him worse... Ainge would have been a lot worse than clausen if sanders was still here and not Cut so what is comes down to is Cut>Sanders
Bottom line.... I would rather have Clausen in the SECC last year. With him we win.
I'm not going to disagree that Cut > Sanders, but Casey did not have as much talent as Ainge. Clausen was small without a great arm. Ainge was big with a rifle. I am actually a fan of Casey because he was able to have success through grit and heady play in spite of his physical limitations.
Based on Casey's numerous SEC championships?

Ainge's best season stats are still better than Clausen's.
And it wasn't an argument for me, someone else was saying that Clausen's stats were better. I just went to check them out, and I guess ESPN has the wrong career stats up for Clausen.
You are probably correct that Ainge has more talent and a bigger arm. But do you ever remember that arm being on display? I don't his last two years. I know he had a pinky injury last year but I cannot remember one deep throw from Ainge the last few years. When Clausen was around I remember him connecting on plenty of deep balls.
