Ainge's Apology

His stock went down for the NFL. Many more QB's I would have than EA.Heck, Andy made it in 86 and won!

You're right. He's not even in the top 5 Senior QBs anymore. You know that if he led UT for a big, clutch SEC title from being a huge under-dog that he would be above Brennan at the least, maybe still below Woodson and Ryan.

I mean, I never thought of him as a really good QB, he was great at times, he was bad at times....he was just not consistent a lot of times. He did try to take the blame and his coach wouldn't let him take it all

what about play calling????

what about having average receivers who have dropped numerous passes in the last 4 games????

It's good to see Ainge step up and take responsibility and see the players and coaches stand up for him. I hate that he will be remembered for losing that game, but it's the truth. I hope he can lead us to victory over Wisconsin and go on to success in the NFL.

For all you folks out there tooting Ainge's horn about being the "2nd best etc. etc. etc." two comments. The first is he won't be standing beside Peyton OR Tee (remember the guy who was QB who actually WON an NC at UT)anytime soon, not to mention possibly the greatest QB who played at UT without much around him, Condredge Holloway. Second, I believe it was Bill Bates who had the most embarassing girly man play in UT football history when SuperDawg Herschel Walker sought him out and ran over him, that was until Ainge's now historic girly man play in the end zone where he simply tossed the ball to LSU for an interception about like a second grade girl in a game of pickup and smear. Ainge, good kid, solid player, girly man on the football field every now and again. Certainly NOT destined for greatness or even near it when it comes to UT QBs is my opinion.

You cant win a game or a season in two throws but those two certainly were not smart throws, what Ainge is supposto be.:pirate:

>>>I never punched the right buttons." said Coach Cut. That makes me more mad than Ainge.<<<

Interpreted that means if I had run more than the same 8 plays all game long. I don't believe that crafty Les Miles would have figured us out. I should have called the remaining 2 plays in our play book (sheet). But I didn't want to show them too much...besides it takes years & years to figure out our complex 30 year old offensive scheme & I'm not sure our youth is ready for the whole book (sheet) yet.

I would laugh hard at this if it wasn't completely true...

From 2004 to 2006 Ainge had 691 passes with 408 of them being complete, that's 59%...5178 pass yards averaging almost 179 pass yards per game. I don't know about this years stats. I've never been a HUGE Ainge fan...but those aren't bad stats. I still don't think he's a superstar QB and I think Saturday he threw the 2 stupidest throws he ever could. But more than that I think CDC put our team in a terrible situation and he even admitted that I think. Thoughts??

Will he personally apologize to me for the money I lost on bets on UT games this year, when they didn't cover the spread?

Game is over guys. No need to drill these kids. After the game I had my opinions but it is a new day. Can't change it now. I only say this because I hate to see people be so critical of kids in Little League and High School ball when the game is over.

Arguably, yes, if you are a total moron. Hope Eric enjoys his eventual future as a McDonald's restaraunt manager.
Calling fellow fans names and bashing players who have been the primary reason for this season's success......man, I hope I never have the unfortunate displeasure of being in your company. ....have you even played organized sports before? If you have, ever had a bad game? Would you like someone ridiculing your performance or prospective future and making you feel worse than you already feel....are you just the byproduct of poor parenting?

Sorry y'all, but EA is not a leader and he is not a strong QB. He is only as strong as his line and in EVERY instance he is faced with scrambling to fall on the ball/take a hit vs. throw an interception, he choses the latter. He will not make it in the pros, and he single-handedly lost the game Sat.

This post still lives. It makes me sick to see the reminder. It's like your girlfrien apologizing for fooling around with your best friend. No apology needed. Just get out of my face. :realmad:
