Thank you very little.

roger that. question GA. so you don't think it is possible that ainge may go down with a injury this year considering this is the SEC. or that he could have a slow start with his new WR's. or the running game may be improved greatly and he may not have to throw as much. all those above are the reasons for the low output.

hard to plan on an injury for one.

as to the rest, i get what you are saying, and the new WR being the best reason of the three, cause if the running game is much improved, it will likely be because the passing game is good and the O Line is good, or it will allow the passing game to be good......

but, to your point, he could have lower yardage totals, and the offense still be better in the long run for it.

3000+

1. An improved run game won't hurt Ainge's stats...its will help. Most people would agree that the run opens the pass more than the pass opens the run

2. Kenny O'neal is new to our system...not to college football. I think he will have an immediate impact close to that of Meachem(not as much...but close) which will open up other receivers

3. We also have three very good TE's and an entire backfield that is good a catching passes

4. Ainge has had over a year with Cut....enough said

i love your avater newcastle is the bomb. i think the offense will be pretty bad at the beginning of the year and pick it up by the end. ainge and his injuries have been a problem for 3 years there isn't much reason to think that he won't get dinged up again this year. especially what i saw at the spring game our o-line looked like they ate to many chicken wings, they were terrible. lots of questions, and no answers till september, hopefully they prove me wrong, but i wouldn't bet on it.

i think the offensive line as a whole has a chance to be better than it was last year. losing Sears hurt, but the whole unit should be better. the real question is the WR. who are they going to be? will the new guys live up to the hype as instantly as many of us hope?

we're not going to be terrible this season. we just may not be spectacular.....the offense really does have a chance to be pretty good if the WR's fall in line like we need.

the defense is what worries me more than anything.

Good post, I agree with you about the oline. Isn't this the 3rd year for the oline coach? Anyway he's had a fair amount of time to get settled and have the fruit of his teaching truly revealed. We should truly see this season what he knows about position coaching. It's been posted many times before but I can't imagine what possible excuse CPF coming from a OL background could offer for not having year after year oline's among the nations best. That said I have much optimism for the up-coming season, go Vols!
