Ainge: "QB position is a question mark"

And Ainge was still better than bray, you guys can get around that still
Propping up Ainge for the Cal game isn't much different than doing the same with Bray for the Cincy game.

It's silly to pretend beating the number 9 team means something if they're obviously not the ninth best team in the country.

Ainge just said that. Unreal.

This choke-master pick-throwing superchoker just slammed Bray.

Li'l Erik, I have news for you. Bray is 50 times the QB you were ever were. As a sophomore, he outshines you as a senior. The QB position is one place on our offense that we don't have a question mark.

You might want to stay away from slamming Bray at this point, considering your own shortcomings.[/QUOTE

Since when did we need or want Ainge's opinion. You are exactly right about what you said about Ainge. He was never the player Bray is today. And in the next couple of years Bray will become one of Tennessee's all-time great quarterbacks.

Could Bray win 10 games with a broken finger on his throwing hand?

Hope we never know.

Finally time to put this thread in the dirt.

I agree...3 out of 4 years he was absolutely miserable.
Erik Ainge Stats - ESPN

yeah and we had to throw the ball 500 times for him to get some good stats. ha! I always felt like Ainge lost us more games then he actually won for us. I mean, he was playing when we were a solid running team with some guy who coaches that SEC Champ LSU team running our Defense.

Ainge had a terrible sophomore year. I'd take him again if we had to do it all over. Way better than Rick Clausen. He was also better than Senior year Crompton IMO.

The messenger became the message. Two questions: how good will Bray be this year, and how good will Worley be this year? Last year, we needed both. Both should be improved going into this season, but that's not an automatic.
