Another Ainge for Heisman thread???

Give it up Vol fans, that trophy does not exist to us. It is a myth, a legend. Forget about individual awards and focus on SEC and NC titles.

Hypeman- hype them up and tear them down then give it to the wrong person.

If Booty gets this award, it should be completely eliminated. He is a joke to me.

Although my name appears that way (I made this his first year), as it has already been mentioned.....I do not believe he has a shot.

UT would have to be atop the SEC East and be ranked in the top 10 for any heisman talk to start.

Until we find some playmakers at WR, get in the top 10, and are on top of the SECE, he will not even be mentioned.

I think you'll see his name thrown around in discuassion, but I doubt he'll finish in the top 5, just due to the SEC making great QB's look good.

I don't think Ainge has the tools around him to win the Heisman this year, but ...

That's irrelevant. I think for ANY Tennessee player to ever win the Heisman, his stats would have to be so ridiculous that not picking him would just be ludicrous.

If Manning loses the Heisman to a DB from Michigan, we can just forget about Heisman trophies around here -- and I could really care less.

No, not a chance.....but who cares, SEC championship ring would be much sweeter.

I could just see the team going crazy with the 2007 SEC Champs hats on. I just have a funny feeling we win the SEC this year.

Ainge could have a year to win it,but like most here say take home the SEC crown, it is far more important.

Let's think about this. The gators won the NC in 96. We won teh SEC in 97 with a SR QB and the SEC and NC in 98 with a JR QB. Can we follow this same pattern 10 years later?? Just something to think about.
