Ainge crying like a baby about Tyler again

since we are making excuses for bray.....

in 2007, was it ainge's fault that tennessee gave up 45 to cal, 59 to florida and 41 to bama?

would it have been helpful if the arian foster who plays for the texans ran like that while he was at tennessee?

let me rephrase that last one. would it have been helpful if the arian foster that played at tennessee was even half the back he is for the texans.

Don't forget about UK scoring at will in 07' yet Ainge found a way to win and maintain the streak.

Negavolter just hates Ainge because he speaks the truth and sometimes the truth hurts.

Ainge proves you can be all vol and a VFL yet still be able to speak critically of your team.

Ainge = VFL... Negavolter = butt hurt troll who couldn't hold EA's jock.

Best part is... Ainge speaks very highly of Bray and says he has a ton of potential and if he plays at his best could be a better QB than he was. Yet when he brings some truth to the table... negavolter gets his depends in a wad. Smh

It's threads like these that offer a stark reminder of why my visits to this site are growing fewer and far between.

We did lose because of Bray's play, but Dooley should have made a change at QB instead of leaving him in the game. The same thing happened last year, with leaving Simms in the game about half the season.

IMO Ainge was better than both of the Clausen's BUT he did have some BONEHEAD plays!

Ainge was a solid college QB; Bray has been spectacular at times but he still has a lot to prove. Ainge would still be in the League if he had not wasted himself with ****ty drugs; I imagine that Ainge has a pretty big chip on his shoulder now.

That said, Dooley, Bray, and all the other players and coaches share the blame for the awful performance in Lexington. As a UT player, if you are on a team that loses to UK, you have opened yourself up to a lot of criticism.

Actually, toward the end of his time with the jets he was physically unable to perform due to his injuries. Which is why he took proscription drugs which led to addiction.

He's said he'd do some things differently if he had to do it all over but it's a common misconception that he's not in the NFL because of his p. Drug addiction.

Bray and Rogers most certainly could have called the plays and scored at least 21

Ainge is right imo

Bray could have stepped in and overridden

Outside of his sophomore season, Ainge had a pretty good career at UT. His passing numbers are pretty good.

So? Ainge's supporting cast was head and shoulders what Tyler has had so far.

We're comparing QB's not their supporting casts.

I've never seen Tyler implode like Ainge did every other game. Ainge was a choking little girl.

I have....just sayin.

FYP per what Ainge has said....

Ainge was on pills while playing at UT. Ask him. If he says different, he's lying!

Everyone has opinions. mine differs from yours. Makes neither of us right or wrong really. I don't think Bray is ready yet,or deserves as much credit as some give. Just my opinion and I agree he is the most gifted qb we have had since Crompton. Crompton fell apart for some reason. What it was I don't know for certain but he was talented.
Not a consistent offensive coord. If Cutcliff was there just to say with Crompdaddy he woulda of been a hellova QB, also same with The douchebag out west. If any of those two could had all 4 with Crompton he would be in the NFL I believe.

Show me Tyler regularly choking with games on the line.

You'll need to list at least 7 or 8 games, occurring with regularity, in order to even approach Ainge's boneheadedness.

Name 7 or 8 games that Ainge was the reason for the loss. I'll give you the 07 SEC championship, even though I still blame a poor play call on that final interception, but I'll concede that one. So name 6 more where Ainge blew it.

Ainge actually was a great QB until that last second of the first half when we tried the 60 yard suprise pass play that was no suprise. He never got over the broken collar bone, and pain meds.

This x1000. People forget how good he was in 2004. He was leading that team to the SEC Title Game and was getting better.

He never had the same arm strength after he tore his shoulder and was never the same. I'll believe that till I die.
