"A'ight"

He looked and acted like a deer in the headlights in front of a handful of cameras and friendly supporters. Can't wait to see what he does when 102,000 people are screaming at him. This is a travesty folks. Take off your orange tinted glasses. Its just another dooley/jones retread. Also, who in the blue hell is our new OC? He doesn't have a wikipedia page and google turns up very little. A first time, defensive oriented headcoach who cant even handle the pressure of a press conference, paired with an OC you can't even google. Do you guys not see how SCREWED we are?

Let me guess - Les or Jon?

That's apples to oranges man. I for one thought he did fine besides a few slip ups when he was speaking but Fulmer did the same thing. How you act at a press conference has literally no correlation to how well one is able to coach.

Dooley was an excellent speaker. It’s irrelevant, anyway, as you say. UT didn’t hire a politician, it hired a damn football coach.

Went to pick up some lunch through a Panda Express drive though today. When the lady gave me the total price and told me to pull around I just reflexively said, "A'ight." I then realized what I had done and had a good laugh.:eek:lol: It doesn't bother me too much at this point, but I think he needs to have some sort of a limit. I think he will probably work on his public speaking skills as he moves forward if I had to guess. "A'ight" and "OK" seem to be his verbal crutches when he is explaining something.

Listened to the presser again and definitely didn't here "a'ight". Maybe alright or awright, but not a'ight.

Lol. My wife challenged me to drink every time he says aight... im quickly catching a buzz. Im fired up.

Pretty much will be a drinking game for me from now on. Hope to see a lot of "a'ight" shirts in orange when we start winning again.

I wish the man a lot of success. God knows we need it. I hope he is to Neyland what Saban is to Bear Bryant.

GO BIG ORANGE!!!
