Don't hold your breath for that to happen with these guys in charge. They'll have him catching balls 2 yards behind the LOS and asking him to jook/jive for 3 yards.

You seriously think we had a WR problem in the Cal game? Ha. Rogers is very capable of being a deep threat. Not hitting the deep ball against Cal did not have to do with who we lined up at WR. O'Neal and Vinson got snaps. They didnt hit any deep balls. Cal played a VERY soft coverage the whole game and basically just gave us 5-10 yard passes. If the DB's start that far off the LOS and back-up immediately after the snap nobody, nobody is going to beat them deep. That was their strategy in the game. Our WR's that played did very well, and will be able to stretch the field a little bit. This is not our concern at this point. I promise our WR's will be plenty good enough go be successful. We have lots of work to do in ST and Defense!

jones and vinson will be out there more than moore and o'neal. i would like to see o'neal's size in there more. they all look so small compared to hannon, meachem, swain and washington...they look like 10 peerless price's out there.

Yes the receivers did a good job of catching the balls thrown to them from the coverage given but none of them made anything happen after the catch. That is one of our major weaknesses in this current receiving bunch.

A major difference in our coaching staff and other top tier SEC schools came from Urban Meyer:

When asked what thoughts go through his mind when deciding the plays to call he stated: " I do not think of what play will get us the next 2-3 yards, I think of what personnel AND play will get us the SCORE." Regardless of what you think of Meyer, that shows the mentality we need.
