Ahmad Paige injury / Practice recap

I just don't understand how a 5th yr senior is still botching snaps. Shouldn't that have been fixed in HS at the latest?

I always thought Crompton looked thick after watching him play. He'd take a snap, immediately look at one and only one receiver for a good 3-4 seconds, throw the ball, and then look dumbfounded when his pass gets picked off or broken up.

But the, "Obviously that wasn't the plan..." qwip just takes the cake.

Honestly, how did anyone know the full story of how Ahmad hurt himself? I always have my eyes closed whenever he attempts a pass. It's just become second nature for me to wince as soon as I see him wind up...

Few tidbits from the time I was there.

- Crompton is still inaccurate as hell

- Man, you could hear Coach O from the second level tonight. I've heard the legend of the O, but to actually see it, I know where all the Coach O legend posts are coming from.

- The intensity of that practice was nuts. I loved it. Saw a fight too

- Didn't get to see the David Holbert injury. Looked real bad though. Hope he gets better

- Starting off the evening session with an Oklahoma drill truly showed that no one is off limits. I really like it.

- Was I the only one who saw BJ Coleman getting first team reps. Or was I mistaken?

Are you freakin' kidding me?

Atleast we know it's either Stephens or Crompton this year.

Sorry. I had a brainfart. Must have still been thinking about that Holbert post on the All-Bust team thread.

I wasn't sure the kid was still around lol - and if he was and had another devastating injury that would have been ridiculous.

That would have been a bout of bad luck to say the least.

Plus I guess I'm so used to hearing about him getting injured that I first thought of him when I heard injury. I knew who it was, my brain just confused itself.

I might be the first person ever to have Alzheimers by the time I'm 25.

Glad Paige is OK, that was stressing me out waiting for news after he hit the wall.

Padding defeats the purpose of the brick wall renovation. Seems like some thought should have been put into that while the wall was in the planning stage.

Not a single player from any team hit the wall last year. Then again we didn't hit the endzone much either.

It's only a matter of time until someone starts a "what about black pads in the endzone" thread.......

So Paige hit the wall trying to catch a fade from Crompton. For anyone who was at the practice, was Crompton's pass really off the mark? After what I saw last year, I don't think Kiffin, Reaves or anyone can coach Crompton to be accurate
