No I wouldn't. I despise players that act like pompous pricks. And if he was Butch's player I'd hope the little punk would be benched for doing what he did to Berry to another player.

I like Warrior even more for giving him a taste of his own medicine though. If Warrior did that with no reason then I'd dislike him too.

Amen to that. This guy made me think less of their entire team. What a douche bag.

I enjoyed talking with lots of Vols fans prior to the game. During the game, your team and fans did you proud. I now have, based on personal reasons, a school from the SEC East that I can enjoy following..

Come on over to the bright side, Aggie. The water is just fine.

You would love him if he was making plays like that for the VOLS, give me a break. Let's just hope we get them in the SEC champ game.

I really have to disagree here.

we ever have a player like this I would hope he is dismissed from the team if he does not choose to act like a football player instead of an thug.

exactly what this guy acted like. he may not be a thug but he sure acted like one in this game.

Hello Vols,

Now that the dust has partially settled from the epic clash that occurred on Saturday, I just had to share a few observations. First, your guys played an incredible game. They played well enough to beat anyone in the country, but the breaks went our way on that day. Second, your fans travelled better than anyone we have played in the SEC so far, and you were the classiest and most knowledgeable group that we have seen in a very long time. Needless to say that you have earned tens of thousands of fans for the remainder of your schedule, and we would love to meet again later this year. Third, it is my personal hope that our traditions and gameday atmosphere lived up to SEC standards, and that everyone who made the trip experienced a welcoming and memorable gameday. We are truly blessed to be a member of the finest organization in college sports, and it was an honor to host the REAL UT.

Thanks, and gig'em.

flyover was badass. really liked the linked-arms song (alma mater?) i think at end of third quarter or halftime.

They were so nice it didn't feel like an sec game. I had a great time, but the atmosphere was different than what I would normally expect for 2 top 10 sec teams. The only idiot I had to deal with was a ut fan, and he was right beside me.

I just want to give a public shoutout to the Aggies fans. I have never come across such a nice fanbase.

I was constantly offered good fortune, hopes of a good clean game, beer, liquor, food, handshakes, and high-fives.

Post-game, they were even more classy. Congratulated us on a good game, and pretty much every one said we gave them the game via turnovers.

When they come to Knoxville, we need to reciprocate the hospitality.

well, outstanding...first time to Texas...:)

GO VOLS!

That's the right description and i agree. I said it before, but the intensity was not there. They were only loud when we had to make a play and then they would sit right back down.

I like them all except for number 12.

That guy is a d-bag and poorly represented the aTm spirit.

An Aggie in our section explained why they were going crazy for #12. Apparently to wear the #12 jersey (12th man) you have to be a walk on and be voted on by the team.

Nicest fan base yet they make you sit down during a game... hmmm?

Must have been where you were. I was on the 1st row 35 yrd line and stood w/ aggie fans almost the entire game. In fact, one of the traditions for their students is to stand for the entire game, so you must have been in a strange spot.

My wife and I were treated with great respect and hospitality.

During the mid portion of the game, a TN fans flask was taken by the police, but a few minutes later the officer, after emptying it, came and gave it back to him.

I have never been treated that well at a game, and cant eait to return there.

TN fan right behind me had a miniature cocktail bottle...also returned. 3rd row on the 15...best seats I'll ever have. Sat very little and of my own volition. Aggie fans are fun.

I agree. The Aggie fans were almost too nice. And, for those that can't quite get their head around that, wait until this bunch rolls into Knoxville from down south this weekend. I'd take Aggie fans over that any day.

The Aggie sitting next to me told me he was excited when he graduated cause he wouldn't have to stand up the whole game anymore. Don't get me wrong they stood on big 3rd downs and a lot late in the 4th and OT just not the same kind of atmosphere as neyland!!

Do you also have to tackle with your helmet to their helmet?

Just a guess...but I bet they will be thanking us for whipping the gumpers azzes on Saturday....

My buddies and I had the same experience. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my family to College Station in the future. Gracious and hospitable without exception.

We didn't encounter a single jackass fan which is just plain unheard of.

Basically the polar opposite of Gainesville Florida.

I have said the exact same thing multiple times

That's really good to hear, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama fans could take some lessons. Horrible fan bases, especially Florida and Georgia.

I was about 4,934 rows behind you....in the corner of the endzone.

Wanted to say thanks to all the Aggie fans as well. Never have I been to an opposing stadium and treated with so much respect! I had so many people come up and said "welcome" and offered us food and drinks. They also said that our Vol fan base that traveled to College Station was the biggest and best fan base they've ever seen. They had a great stadium, traditions, tailgate area and bars as well. Glad I made the trip, hope we can return the hospitality in a few years when they come to Neyland.
