For those of you traveling to the game, Northgate is the equivalent to the Strip. However, the Strip is much more impressive...and bigger...than Northgate. Regardless, stop and enjoy a longneck (or two), at the Dixie Chicken.
From everything I'm reading here, Tennessee and Texas A&M are almost identical in terms of strength and weaknesses and lineups (Except maybe special teams?).
Plus, we are both 5-0 and 8 v. 9 in the polls.
And the Aggies coming over here seem like a class act.
Should be a helluva game. May the best team win, one snap at a time, clean game, no injuries.
Also, #GBO!
Their win over Arkansas stands out. A&M is not going to go conservative with a halftime lead. I think this is a team where Vols will have to play a complete game. Worst case is we split the tough part of the schedule 2-2 and wait to see if someone else beats UF. 10-2 is still a big step forward. I'm not conceding to A&M, I just think we can afford to lose this game and they cannot. May be that helps us stay loose.
I remember A&M fans on here before the bowl game years ago trying to explain the 12th man to us.
You had me going until you forgot to capitalize 'Texas', commie.Yes, We Aggie fans are here. About 400 of us, ROTC men, are standing in our assigned area at Kyle Stadium as I write this. We are holding 400 flags, as we like holding and waving flags at A&M. Don't ask me why. For every home game, a special ROTC detachment is ordered to stay inside the stadium from Monday until the game ends on Saturday. It's another of our odd traditions. We stand during the day, holding flags, and eat MRE's that are dropped to us by helicopter, We drink smoothies that are a mix of cat urine, kale, raw eggs and steroids, which our commanders tell us builds hard soldiers. We do not take classes this week but every night watch a video on the big screen about American's glorious oil and gas industry, followed by a documentary on the hoax that is global warming. This is texas. At night we sing Aggie fight songs--we have 12--and then sleep on the bleachers with our boots on. Until Saturday....

I have wanted to ask Aggie fans since they entered the SEC if they supported the move to the SEC. I know you miss playing Texas every year and the travel is terrible, but things seem to being going very well. Is there a contingent that still wishes they hadn't left? Was the fanbase divided when the move was first announced? Sorry if already discussed
my first trip to College Station.....when is the bon fire/Pep rally???
Don't regret it one bit. We love the travel.
I don't know one person who regrets it.
