I never understood the logic behind limiting shower heads and toilets, watering your grass and washing your car I get, but showers and toilets are circular, the water that comes out of the head goes back into drain, so back into the "water" system. Yes it needs to be "cleaned" but it's still available

Using percentage increases is dumb as shot as well.

From $1 to $10 debt is nothing. But $100B to $1T is the same equivalency.

That’s false when you consider the reason that the Republicans have had to spend. Obama neglected the military therefore Trump had to spend more to catch up. Reagan had to invest massive dollars in defense as well.

As pointed out by others you didnt spend as much time indoors around those conditions as they do now.

As always it's a little of column a and a little of column b.

Also modern houses are much more airtight than they were previously. The house you grew up in probably didnt have ANY insulation, single pane windows, joints werent too tight, attic may not have even been really treated. So there was a lot more ability for the bad stuff to leak out and the fresh air to leak in.

With fewer air changes in the house any pollutant is going to stick around longer and become more of a irritant than it otherwise would. And with it being a pollutant created inside the house whatever air system you have isnt going to do anything about it.

And yes kids are spending all day in those conditions.

No, he didn't. Obama's military budget was by far the largest in history and we should be cutting military spending. Not increasing it.

No doubt that Carter left things a mess. But Reagan didnt have to spend billions to Prop up the Contras and the goat ******* in Afghanistan. He let the CIA and the Saudis lead him around by the nose.

Then either it wasn’t enough or the Commander in Chief had no clue how to manage the dollars allocated. The military needed to be fixed after his 2 terms.

No. We don’t need to be cutting military spending with Russia invading their neighbors, China threatening to annex and grab territory, the southern border being unmanaged and overrun, and tyrant dictators in China, Russia, and NK pointing their weapons at us. And I assume there are many still chanting “death to America” in the streets of ME countries.

We probably could cut our military budget and most federal budgets without affecting the end service. The issue is making sure the money gets to where its needed first. Drop all the extra bs. Right now we spend on all the bs first, and if there is left over we maybe send some towards the stated goals.

New York state may see a ban on gas stoves in new buildings and homes by the end of the decade, as officials seek to combat climate change.

Governor Kathy Hochul suggested the move during her state-of-the-state address on Tuesday, while outlining her plan toward 'Achieving the New York Dream.'

'Buildings are the largest source of emissions in our state, accounting for a third of our greenhouse gas output,' Hochul said.

If passed, New Yorkers may see only electric stove tops in new developments by 2030.
