but Im telling you I spend half the game looking in Clawsons box with binoculars and the guy looks completely lost..covering his face up....looking constantly down at the table..rubbing his head..sending plays in with 12 seconds left on the 45 second clock.....etc..

I know it comes down ultimately to Fulmer's control over the overall scheme and ability to change plays, but geeez,I mean this $hite is getting comical now..He IS IMO out of his league bigtime, once again another bad hire AND THAT is where Fulmer's worth must be questioned..

No passes for any UT coach right now. They all need to be in the frying pan.

I agree, really bad hire. He was great in Richmond, maybe he and his WR coach could have stayed in Richmond. Honestly, did we not have the $ to get someone that has a rep for moving the ball in Div. I football?

No way do I think Clawson isn't being handcuffed by Fulmer in some way. If Clawson had his way, Stephens would have been starting after UCLA.

He's probably up there going "Well..I'd like to run these 20 plays...but we only know like 4 of them. Which one do go with this time?"

Bingo. You couldn't tell the difference between this year's offense and that of year's past---'cept maybe fewer bubble screens.

If Clawson looks frustrated, it's probably moreso to do with being handcuffed by Fulmer. Plus how do you know it's his fault the play isn't coming in until 12 seconds left on the play clock.

I'm not going to pass the buck to Clawson.

Do you honestly think that with the players we have on the field that anybody else could do any better? I'm not saying Clawson is the best we could have gotten, but you can't take hamburger and try to make it into prime rib.

I don't think chavis has been the problem this year. I've actually really liked the way our D has looked. (minus the UF game). We just can't score points.

You must have repressed the memories of the 2nd half of the UCLA game, when we made a crash test dummy look like the 2nd coming of Troy Aikman.

clawson is not handcuffed by fulmer. after productive first downs all year long, do you think fulmer would throw on 2nd and 3rd and short all year long. this is clawsons offense and he is making the play calls, he wants to be too cute. this is the sec. u have to be tough and agressive. i do like however, his willingness to go deep. i really dont have a problem with the scheme and the design of the offense. i do have a problem with the playcalling. overall, its been mediocre at best.
