Last year I would categorize the season "going south" for only one game, Arkansas. Our team played bad and our fans were beat down worse. Not that Arky didn't have a good game plan and expose some things against us. Outside that (and including that) the Vols righted the ship and nearly went undefeated the rest of the way.

So, based on our coaches / teams history, no. Losing Saturday will NOT cause the season to "go south". Our player leadership is much better this year as well.

Our fanbase ... I don't even know what to say.

If it's a high ankle sprain, I don't see how he can. He needs a healthy ankle for lateral quickness and cutbacks.
