Despite my best efforts, I really like this guy. He shares my thoughts and if he executes this way...no excuses just win...I think we got a great coach.

I love how he told everyone to know their role and pull their weight. Especially when he mentioned the boosters. Basically saying, I’m the damn football coach. You do your job and I’ll do mine. At least I hope that’s how he meant it.

Glad to see this. Of course time will tell, but using you as a barometer, maybe the winds have shifted some in the favor of Pruitt. Personally, so sick of what Jones did to this program, I'm happy for a change. Jury may still be out, but this guys resume is one of recruiting and winning. Two things much needed.

Like Kiffin, Dooley and Jones - I'll support him until he gives me a reason not to.

He said all the right things. Its hard not to like CJP after that presser. I have no idea how he will fair in the end. But, I'm with him at this point. The staff is looking good so far. That's better than Jones already. Lets hope the good news keeps coming.

Short and to the point. I liked it. When we suck he will tell us we sucked. Seems like a straight shooter. No more champions of life crap after we get our eyeballs beat in.

Pruitt's a football coach, not a public speaker:)

Really. Every dang week Nick had to do that mid-week presser you could tell he hated it with a passion. Tickled the hell outta me how he treated those poor newsmen/ladies at many times.

Did anyone else get completely sick of Davenport rattling on like she wasn't responsible for the prior trainwreck...that was the most self serving crap she rattled on about before letting Phil up there. She is as fake as they come and the less she speaks the better for UT....aw'right.

I don't see it that way at all. But since this is just a message board discussion I disagree with your opinion. I think she has the best intentions for our university going forward. She may have been mislead early on but she learned quick and righted the ship. Hats off to her!

We'll see. I'm cautiously optimistic but winning the presser means very little to me. I'm not trying to be contrarian but we've all seen this movie before. Derek Dooley won the presser. Butch Jones won the presser. In fact, Lane Kiffin had the worst presser of the last 3 coaches but was a better coach.
