After seeing what happened to Ohio State, maybe this season was a blessing?

Its alot easier to be the hunter than the hunted.

Everyone thought Ohio State would run away with the championship this year because they returned essentially the same roster that won it all the year before. However, they underwhelmed and are now essentially out of the playoff. I think the off-season praise got to the heads of the players. Its alot easier to get motivated to try and prove people wrong than to prove them right.

If we stopped that 4th and 14, it would be us in Atlanta instead of Florida. I think we can all agree team 119 is talented, however, we are not good enough to beat Alabama or win the playoffs just yet. Making it to Atlanta might have given the guys a little too much confidence this off-season. Maybe they don't work quite as hard cause they think they've arrived.

Like I said it's alot easier to be the hunter than the hunted. I prefer going into the off-season with an angry team motivated by the bad taste of those losses to Florida and Oklahoma. Rather than a team that everyone pats on the back cause they barely lost in the SEC championship to eventual national champion Alabama.

No I would rather have beaten Florida and Oklahoma this season.

Well I would rather win the national title in 2016.

I think losing those games serve as better motivation than winning. Sometimes to become a champion you have to experience the pain of loss. 2015 was that pain. 2016 is when we get the fruits from that labor.

Thought I'd seen it all on VN. But this summed up has to take the cake.

"So glad we lost because it would have made the team a sad panda had we gone to the championship only to lose to Bama again."

Elliot has every reason to complain about his carries. Urban blew that game. He might have had more luck if he had Tebow.

Then talk to Urban behind the scenes in his office. A player should NEVER bash his coaches on social media. Absolutely no class or maturity

Oklahomo embarrassed us at home and set a tone for the rest of the season. It infuriates me we lost to those scumbags the way we did.
