He phrased his disdain carefully. Stating that "I can't criticize" (the officiating). Gotta love a coach that is efficient at Coach Speak. Translates to screw the officiating. I just can say anything because it will cost me big.

I like what I see and hear from DD. It was a bizzaro game from hell.

All should be proud of these guys and the coaches.

CDD is a great coach and very intelligent mind when it comes to not just football, but speaking and addressing the media also. I am excited about what the future holds for the Vols. It's gonna be a fun ride and when its all said and done and the Dooley era comes to a close-I foresee many many trophies in our trophy case!

It is still great to be a Tennessee Vol and it is only gonna keep on getting better!!!!!

From the first press conference I knew he was a intelligent and nice person. He was genuine about being excited to have the job and be at UT. He is doing a great job with the players and the football program as a whole. So in about two years I say we will be rockin! I am PROUD to be a TN VOLS FAN through thick and thin, through the up and downs, it doesn't matter a "Real" Fan stays through it all.

2:25 - 3:15 = Coaching Excellence

5:55 - 6:15 = REALLY shows how much he cares as he almost loses it thinking about his players...

I could NOT be happier to have this man at the helm of The Tennessee Vol Football Program.

Agree, for good or bad, I can't complain about the character and will of the guy at the wheel.

Each and everyday I become prouder & prouder of our Coaches and Team!! Thank you Coach Dooley and young men that gave us what you gave us this season... DD was handed a pile of crap from a Douchebag and the molding has begun.. I'll stand by my feeling "that it's coming, it's coming."

We are still reeling over the MCB but it's time to move on.. come on Orange & White game... I'll be renewing our season tickets next week and that's a step to next season!!!! You gotta love the VOLS regardless... :salute::salute:

GO VOLS..
GO BIG ORANGE... :loco::loco::loco:

First and foremost I think Derek Dooley is awesome and a great choice to take over this program when he did.

He is recruiting, and he is making us as fans proud of a program that has had its fair share of bad publicity.

While I love the way he coaches, speaks, and is with these young men, I still must withhold actual judgement on him as the long term right man for the job.

I hope and pray that he is able to take these high level recruiting classes and turn them into a winning product on the field. In my mind, thats all he has left to prove, and if he can do that, we probably wont need another coach for a long long time.

That being said, if after 2013 we dont have a highly competitive product on the field then his great character, recruiting, and attitude will not be enough to keep him here.

At the very worst he is the right man to bridge the gap from the turmoil we had endured, and at the very best, we dont have to hire a coach for the next 20 something years.

I hope it is that latter, but as a realist, I think we still have to wait and see.

He handles press conferences pretty well and fielding questions. Of course being an attorney that is kind of a given lol.

I have a strong feeling that in a couple of years we will be lucky to have him as the coach at Tennessee.

IMO, we are very lucky to have him as our coach NOW. But it may take a couple of years for most of us to truly believe after the sh*tstorm we have endured over the last few years. I know I have gone from being the guy saying "we are ok, don't worry about it" while being down by 14 at the half to being the one saying "it's not over yet" while leading after the ref says "the game is over". But, all in all, I feel good about our program and the guy who is in the drivers seat right now.
