After 2005 I was in the frame of mind most find themselves in today. I took a personal stand and gave up my tickets and pocketed my donation. I know...not a 'real fan" move back then. However with the state of the program today I find that I have the best of both worlds. With my donation in pocket I can now go to the games of my choosing obtain better seats for a lesser price, sometimes they are even free! Basically watching the same product I had witnessed back then. So I ask myself....do I really want change?

Every time you post I find myself asking... who is that woman?

If CPF stays people might pay you to take their tickets.

Raquel Welch, I think.

CD, So you would rather get crap for free than pay for a quality product?

Well I am not gonna buy anymore merchandise or go to anymore games until Fulmer is fired. Our program is a joke now because of philbio. Im so tired of being embarressed on national tv and its all because of Fulmer. Our program is not even mediocre anymore and we get blown out at home over and over again. We dont even make our rivalry games interested to watch anymore. I hope Fulmer enjoys the millions hes making every year at the expense of our program. I dont know what Hamilton is waiting for he should have fired him immediately after the Bama game. We keep Fulmer around because he won the NT 10 damn years ago. Man is it hard to be a Tennessee fan these days!

I will answer that question when the powers that be give me back the hope that was taken from me with each raise and extension. I will say however....Free crap is better than expensive crap!

yet another good point bill! the merchendise is dirt cheap these days! Stock up for the great years ahead! The BB stuff I bought 4 years ago saved me a bundle!

I love UT until the day I die but I've had enough of Fulmer and what hes doing to our program. I wont support the program until he is gone, he is a cancer, and we will not be any better until he is removed.

Cd last time i was on campus was vandy 2005. As i exited the stadium i said i wouldn't be back until there was a coaching change.

I may have bought a tennessee hat last year. Thats been the extent of my contribution, except those crappy PPV's i bought last year and the year before. Proud to say i haven't bought any of them this year. Its been boring bob on gameday for me when we had PPV's.

I'm in a state of apathy that i haven't been at before. I lived this crap for years. Now i find myself growing detached from it after every disappointing loss. Guess i'm about at a stopping point this year on the apathy. Afterall we have no games that mean anything left except whether we get in the toliet bowl or not. Excuse me if i don't get real excited about that.

Not that I mind paying for tickets but when I have a source where I can sometimes get them free I'm going to use it. The sad thing is after the UCLA beating we took I found myself requesting tickets from a friend earlier in the week then turning around around and telling him never mind. I just have trouble being a part or taking part in something that is falling or has falling apart. It's really a sombering time to be a UT fan. I mean I'm mad at what has been allowed to happen and continues to this day but I just can't continue to be a part of something I have no confidence in that being the coaches and the administration.

If Fulmer stays...Neyland Stadium will look like a high school football scrimmage. I think enough pressure is being put on Hamilton to get a new regime in place.

Hamilton is not an idiot. He knows that keeping Fulmer around past this season would mean a substantial decrease in revenue next season. I think Hamilton should have called a press conference today, then given Fulmer a chance to announce his resignation or be fired on national TV.

the more i read these posts the sicker i get i wanted to join this so i could put my opinion out there
could someone please do the math i have already
1.winning percentage over the last 16 years for fulmer
2.the number of coaches at alabama, georgia, lsu, and dont forget vandy over the past 16 years and their records
3.the number of losing seasons over the last 16 years

tennessee fans have been blessed with a coach that has brought them all of these things, and we have done this with (thats right phillip fulmer)i have heard all of our fans say"when youre a true fan youre there when they win and lose" i will always be there for this team and the teams of the future.these people who wear bags on their heads and tacky tee shirts maybe a team like ohio state or usc is more youre speed just like the espn announcers 'WE DONT NEED YOU' my father played football for uga in the 60s i am proud of the history of the vols as well as phillip fulmer. no i do not like to lose but i am sure you have heard the players and the coaches say that the fans getting into the game is a momentum changer ; so in part it is our fault of late.lets get behind our team and our coach and try to win as many games as possible . GO VOLS

Hey I am just trying to make a positive out of a negative....I will believe change when I see it but if it doesn't happen.....IT IS WHAT IT IS! Cheap tickets...good seats...cheap shirts, hats etc. Decline doesn't have to be a bad thing. Its saved me money!
