so far, we have 23 seniors and juniors with 9 of them new to our systems... inexperienced with our systems.

I thought we had 53 freshmen and redshirt Freshman.. I don't remember how many are were true Freshmen.

Oh they do, look at OSU and the other teams alike. Our team does not. I've been questioning our S&C guy since he was hired. I can't help but wonder if that hire hurt our D and OL, but no matter... now he is gone. Maybe we will get a guy who has RUN a program at the NFL level or someone big time. I'd love to see us be the bigger, stronger, faster team for once and for upper body injuries to be reduced.

College guys don’t get anywhere near as jacked as the NFL guys. The seniors used to look very similar to some of the NFL players. Now athletes are more lean to keep up with the speed of the offenses. They are nowhere near what they used to look like.

Perhaps, are nowhere near now big and strong the guys get in college football.

A podcaster has been claiming that UT has plenty of money to spend on players but Danny will not allow CJH to go over the CSC nil cap while other schools are blatantly disregarding this cap. What are your thoughts on this?

Offense. Be nice if Joey got another year. Start GMac, and you have a known quantity at #2. But I wouldn't bet on that, so have to try and find that "You're probably not going to start, but we might need you" option at QB. Tricky ground to navigate.

Special Teams. We upgraded at kicker, so...

S&C. This hire will be more important than QB3 in the long run. Absolutely have to get this one right.

So...more talented? No idea. Better on defense? Almost certainly. Better on offense? Should be good enough. ST? Yes. S&C? TBD.

The 2026 schedule, as they all will be moving forward, is tough. If we come out of the Bama game at 5-2 or better, that's a good sign.

Hope springs eternal. Defense wins championships.
