AFC Championship Game Thread: Baltimore at New England (CBS, 6:30PM EST)

Congrats Ravens!

Rd 2 Jim vs. John. Jim will get his revenge on big brother for that Thursday Night (16-6) loss. Go Niners!

Mark Sanchez has more playoff wins in the last 4 years than Tom Brady

It's starting to look like its just not on the cards for Brady and Belicick to win another SB. They choked away two good chances against those horrible Giants teams and couldn't even beat the Ravens today (and certainly wouldn't have beaten SF). You only get so many chances and Brady isn't exactly getting any younger.

New England beat themselves in the second half. Welker dropped a wide open pass on 3rd down. Solder was called for holding. Brady threw 2 picks. Ridley fumbled. There was a turnover on downs.

You just can't do that and win in the NFL. Most of those things were simple mistakes, but they cost them the game.

By my count that's 8 years of Brady's prime where he's gone without a SB. Just more proof that it's a team sport.

I heard all the crap about Manning choking when it matters. Brady played as bad or worse at home against the same team - wonder if people will say he choked?

He played way worse. Manning had one bad play, and spectacular performance, otherwise. Brady was average at best.
