Wow. One of the religious retreats, Kairos...kind of like Search, that I went to in HS, basically played that as their theme song. So, I don't really have any romantic/sentimental thoughts associated with it.

However, at the time, one of the girls I went to high school with did manage to steal two pairs of my boxers out of my room while a bunch of us were swimming. She soaked them in water and then stuck them in the freezer. I ended up going commando the rest of the retreat...she ended up dating me for five long years...I wonder what she is up to now?

Good call. Wait until at least the second date before you explain how all her views are naive and misguided. :)

Good luck, man. I went through this a little over 5 years ago (damn, time flies). Just try to relax and try not to appear desperate, angry or too intense.

Definitely not desperate. The situation actually just kind of popped up on Sunday. I was planning on not really even looking until after I get back from Benning in either July or August.

Guess I should be able to speak it as well!

As you said before just speak in acronyms, use the NATO phonetic alphabet at least twice a sentance. Then have someone call you, tell her it's Rambo and he needs your help in Columbia, but you would rather finish the night with her. Rambo is a big boy.

And after you order, when then waiter reads back what you ordered, answer with a resounding Hooah then wink at her, reguardless if he got it right or not

Also, film all of this so I can send it into some contest and make money

Yes. If you don't close the deal with said skank on said night at said bar, there is really little to no reason to call them to set up anything formal. If you do manage to close the deal, there is really little to no reason to call them prior to about 11pm (or, for you younger kids 2am)...
