Tennessee's in-house designer will continue to design our uniforms in all sports. Don't look for dramatic changes from the current looks. For Indiana they are pretty good, over the years they've tried some different looks and finall found a pretty solid one imo. In the recent past they had some that basically copied OU's.
I think Miami is probably a better example for us, they have had some weird ones under Adidas but I think what they've had as their base uniforms the past several years now is good. It's close enough to their classic look.
As long as the orange and white jerseys, orange and white pants, and dark mode all look basically the same and they don't change the basketball uniforms much I'm fine. I worry a bit about baseball, I love the current baseball options but Adidas was the ones that had those ugly striped Astro things and I think some of their schools are still using those.

This is just a thing with Indiana. If you look at other more blue blood programs, its not an issue. I imagine Adidas will get them right during the offseason.Did anyone else notice the Adidas Indiana uniforms looked loose and sloppy? It didn’t affect the team’s play. Winning is the most important thing. Maybe Adidas can get that right.
Can you speak to why we got rid of the Sunday Cream Uni's in baseball this year? It was one of the cleanest/sharpest looks we had across all sports....Tennessee's in-house designer will continue to design our uniforms in all sports. Don't look for dramatic changes from the current looks.
The cream script "Vols" uniform was from the 2020 redesign, so those jerseys were five years old. They were able to get a bunch of extra blanks for all of the 2020 set (the orange "Vols," the Smokey Grey and the cream) from the vendor before Nike changed manufacturers in 2024, but they were looking pretty rough up close by the end of the 2024 season. Not sure how they pieced together a set for last season. Players hated them because the cream was a slightly heavier material than the orange, white and grey options. The black was an even lighter material. Can you speak to why we got rid of the Sunday Cream Uni's in baseball this year? It was one of the cleanest/sharpest looks we had across all sports....
Any chance Adidas could help bring them back?
Not having a cream script jersey moving forward is just very disappointing. The cream (or "Tennessee Classic," as the style guide says) uniforms for each team at UT are supposed to be true throwback designs. So when they did a full redesign for 2025, they made the creams a true throwback with the block "Tennessee" and it didn't look great on the new uniform template that Fanatics implemented when they took over the manufacturing for Nike. Tony preferred a two-button pullover jersey and the new template for pullovers has an awkward collar instead of a traditional two-button.
You'll see a cream throwback from adidas, but it'll likely be an old/throwback design, not the existing Vols script. But the script will survive the transition.
Great Day, UT hasn't even started wearing the Adidas and people are already b*tching, whining and moaning.
... AND it's nowhere near the peak of Off Season.

The football uniforms aren't changing, but I'm not aware of a script Tennessee ever being on them before. They did the wordmark on the Smokey Grey that paid homage to the state with the tri-star sleeve logo, but that's it.Thanks for the response. I was just referring to the football uniforms.
I think he means this, from the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Not a "script" but just the word. The football uniforms aren't changing, but I'm not aware of a script Tennessee ever being on them before. Again, the same person at UT that has designed every on-field uniform that has been worn the last five years is doing these designs. They have come up with a consistent look for the brand across all sports and aren't going to change that just because of a manufacturer change. The Tennessee brand is going to be the Tennessee brand going forward.
Every school uses multiple brands of pads, just like they use multiple helmets. Players try out different brands and models and find what works for them. You can't design the unis without knowing over what pads they'll be worn, any more than you could offer unis in "one size fits all."
What happens, though, if a school changes their pads contract? Or does the uni contract specify which pads will be worn under their jerseys?
And then there's the reality that, over the course of a season, players will acquire adjustments like additional padding in certain areas, or less restriction in others, to accomodate lingering injuries, recurring impact areas, or evolving roles. So I wonder how Indiana's jerseys fit in August vs. January?
I could totally be wrong, but I think Indiana is still using an older model of jersey Adidas used. I've always thought the lettering and numbers looked cheap with Adidas as well. It does not seem as bad with Miami, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M. I believe those are the newer templates.Did anyone else notice the Adidas Indiana uniforms looked loose and sloppy?
