Does anyone know how much Tennessee makes from their sponsorship with Adidas? Would it make sense for them to switch to someone with a little more modern image such as Under Armour or Nike. And would it potentially help with recruiting (or is it a wash)? Just interested.

Dont think it matters, not really sure how much they make though. Free Adidas is the same as free Nike/UA to college kids. Hell i wish i could get half the free stuff they get from Adidas.

I will say that I like Tennessee's uniforms with Adidas, but I can't help but think that Under Armor would make some sick uniforms with the orange and white.

Who cares what cool uni's UA or Nike could come up with. All the necks and old people would cry about it because its breaking tradition. The football uniform is the same no matter what logo is on it.

I like the adidas uniforms that we have....I think UA jerseys look like crap.....Nike is hit and miss depending on the school

UT has it made with Adidas. A rep on campus for all their needs, custom foot ware for anyone that has had a foot problem, 1 of 5 college teams to be wearing the new seamless jersey this year(like the NFL Reebok jersey)

I like the fan gear that Nike puts out compared to Adidas and I hate Adidas cleats. My high school team made us buy Adidas cleats and I needed like three pairs because I always blew them out. I am glad I can wear Nike cleats again now that I'm in college.

I am cool with Adidas.........cool gear to be had............I still tend to wear Nike shoes.....go figure?

I want to say between 3 to 5 million but I may be way off.

Adidas does a great job catering to Tennessee's needs.

As someone else posted, there's rep that never leaves, special made cleats for athletes with leg/foot problems and more free stuff.

And Under Armour would ruin the jerseys.

Adidas is very old school and soccer oriented. I really wish they'd go with under armour.

Adidas makes way better stuff than Nike. We have it made with adidas.

I agree!!

I have totally stopped buying UA for work out clothes etc. UA's cold gear can't be beat tho, but that's it.
I buy all Addidas gear for my work out clothes, and other athletic type stuff!! I personally think Addidas is just as good as UA for about half the price!! Addidas Thermacool is great stuff.

I'm fine with Adidas uniforms and sideline gear. Would like to see something similar to our practice jerseys get put into the game. Nike makes some sweet accessories and baselayer gear. Not a fan of UA, but they make some pretty sick looking cleats.

I like adidas, Nike cool, UA not so much. It don't matter if our uni's are old school as long as we bring the pain on Saturday that's all that matters. I think all them funky designs look like crap anyway.

I'd rather go with Nike. Its impossible to find nice or decent looking Tennessee stuff on the web unless you actually go to Knoxville with adidas. Nike makes better material, and UA is the same as Nike just dumbed down.

I sure hope codyg is banned or awol. Anyone who remembers the last uniform discussion thread should remember how out of control he (or his brother) got with it. That being said I am a big fan of adidas equipment and apparel. I don't think it matters though we have it made with adidas.
