Like I said, if it's the biggest (or one of the) deal in the country, I get it. But let's face it, ADIDAS brand schools are light years away from Nike's.Lol…can’t even spell it correctly.
We are now their flagship school. Nike didn’t care, and we were just another school for them. Texas Tech is using Patrick Mahomes and Adidas to pump in a bunch of money along with their big booster. It will affect recruiting by adding more NIL dollars.
It’s $20 million per year. Nike didn’t even counter.Like I said, if it's the biggest (or one of the) deal in the country, I get it. But let's face it, ADIDAS brand schools are light years away from Nike's.
Listen to the fans and not the estimated $14 million more Adidas offered?A
Disaster of a move! Adidas couldn't even have a consistent color of orange last time around. Nike is all around superior with far better alternative uniforms and colorways. Fans should pull a Schiano with this decision. Ticket prices increasing, NIL funded, etc. At least listen to your fanbase that has dramatically preferred Nike than how Adidas did before.
Why so much fight for a company that clearly doesn't give a damn about UT? So confusingA

This is the most thing I’m worried about. I hated the look of our Adidas football jerseys before we switched. Just looks cheap. Please be good!Facts:
The Nike black uniforms for Tennessee looked stellar. Adidas better not eff that up.
The Nike Smokey Gray uniforms for Tennessee looked really good too. Adidas better not eff that up.
The rest, eh. Nike fan gear always feels low quality at a high price, so eh.

LOL. We're talking about apparel here. We would be absolute idiots to turn down the money they are paying us. I'd be happy with them wearing Lululemon if they wanted to pay us more.A

I think we might have one of the dumber fanbases in all of college sports! When we changed from Adidas to Nike I didn’t whine like a baby like some of these “guys” are doing! It’s almost hilarious how dumb they look right now! As stated above, I don’t care if the team went out wearing Lululemon as long as they win I don’t care!!! Seriously like 15 million more per year and they still just whine. We starting to sound like Bama fans in stupidity on here. You really think that's because of Nike? Your exclusion for oil money should answer that
100%. Block numbers too.I want the white jerseys with the black outlined numbers back. Those were sweet
I tend to think the edge Nike gives us in recruiting by having nicer apparel outweighs the outright monetary value Adidas or any other company offers. Just go into the recruiting forum and see how many of the recruits post themselves in Nike Alternate jerseys. The amount of fan pride that comes with wearing nice apparel is beneficial also. As mentioned, Adidas couldn't even get a consistent Pantone of orange on their products.LOL. We're talking about apparel here. We would be absolute idiots to turn down the money they are paying us. According to recent reports Nike wasn't interested in Tennessee anymore. Wasn't really much of a choice here.A
