I think it would be best if we leave their design teams out of it. Keep the status quo with minimal changes . Wouldn’t mind the the # font being better and getting rid of the orange collar on road unis, but for the most part it doesn’t need to change IMO

Disappointing news IMO, but I will say here’s hoping Adidas does as well with our apparel as they’ve done with Oasis for this 2025 tour. They really hit the mark from tees to jackets to bucket hats As well as shoes. As a Manchester United fan (unfortunately these days), Adidas has also picked up their game across the board—player kits uniform and apparel.

Didn't we used to call some of those "elephant legs?" I recall some kind of short trend like that in maybe '71 or '72 something? I'll have to ask the wife when she gets in but I think I recall that.

For the record, that's just silly looking.

'72-73 I think. Tight in the hips and crotch, then flare-thee-well from mid-thigh on down. I wore 'em and looked totally cool in 'em with platform shoes! 🕺

So many overreactions in this thread. $15M a year is worth it every time. The “Adidas sucked in 2015 so they’ll suck again” take is lazy thinking. Different era, different people running the show in our AD now. I highly doubt Danny White is going to let his biggest cash cow step onto the field looking like rags.

This isn’t the same AD that botched it last time, and uniform design has come a long way since then. I’ll be grabbing this new stuff day 1 since my current gear is just old worn out Nike anyway.

Tennessee will be to Adidas what Oregon is to Nike and Notre Dame is to Under Armour.

Adidas has big plans beyond that. They include a broader collection of fan gear, stocking stores year-round with new team apparel, marketing campaigns featuring UT athletes and a line of Vols signature shoes.

“We’ve been trying to do this for the past decade, so it’s exciting that we’re finally here,” Chris McGuire, Adidas Vice President of Sports Marketing, told Knox News.

Lol…can’t even spell it correctly.

We are now their flagship school. Nike didn’t care, and we were just another school for them. Texas Tech is using Patrick Mahomes and Adidas to pump in a bunch of money along with their big booster. It will affect recruiting by adding more NIL dollars.

I tried wearing platforms. I'm not, nor have I ever been, a small or graceful man. Think: the monster from Young Frankenstein dancing.

Absurd. And my Dad loved shoving me off balance in those shoes. It didn't cost me an ankle but it wasn't pleasant.

Between that and leisure suits, I've burnt a lot of Polaroids. What were we thinking?
