Adidas Contract

Friend of mine is a La Tech booster. At one of Dooley's booster club meetings a few years ago, he told them Nike was his preferred equipment vendor, really the only option in his mind, apparently because of the cred with kids. TFWIW

What would you have expected an AD/Head Coach to say about his school's equipment sponsor? He is smart enough to know where his bread is buttered.

From everything I hear and read, Dooley would not recruit a kid that would make a decision about where to go to school based on the brand of his britches.

That kid would be a Nu'Keese/Bryce Brown caliber jackarse.

I've been hoping we'd switch to Fruit of the Loom. Their undershirts are comfy as hell. We can have the fruit guys on the sidelines doing pushups. Recruits will flock to us.

Have they gone tagless?

Any real man has such a thick carpet of luxurious, masculine back hair that they could make the tag out of steel wool and he wouldn't notice.
Good point. Best keep them away from our hoops team, just in case.

Ricky Fowler's a Puma guy and couldn't look like a bigger idiot.

Puma and Adidas are anti-establishment. I'm anti-establishment. The Man wears Nike. The People wear Adidas and Pumas.

Are you a corporate slave or you down for the cause, brother?
