They might make some goofy commercials, but please tell me you're kidding about UA. You've obviously never bought or wore anything UA produces, & I'm talking retail,not swap meet UA:post-4-1090547912:

Isn't Nike responsible for most of the awful uniform designs we've seen in the past 10-15 years? They seem to be the ones that come up with the idiotic jersey side stripe that "connect" to the pants and all the clutter designs and junk. And yes their Oregon "designs" alone should have them banished from doing uniforms.

An extension with adidas will be announced soon for more money and more equipment.

There's a laundry list of reasons why, but I don't have the thumbs to list them all from my blackberry. Cliffs Notes version is, its just better. I'll expand on that later.

We need to get back to NIKE if for nothing else but for Hoops. We will keep losing studs like Selby in the future if we stick with adidas. If Under Armour had any presence whatsoever in Hoops then I would be 100% all for them but since they do not, it has got to be NIKE.

UA cleats and gloves are terrible. The gloves wear out so quick it's ridiculous.

No. And the Nike UT gear looks a lot better than the adidas. I was wondering are we the only team to win a BCS championship game with Adidas sponsorship?

It is not just a footbal decision. The company that gets the contract has to be able to supply ALL teams, men and women, apperal and footwear, at UT.
This fact alone knocks out several that have been mentioned.

I coach a youth football team who's high school is sponsered by adidas and their Clima Control Performance Coach's shirt is awesome. Most all of their performance apparel is top notch.

Adidas stuff looks nice. Rather have the 3 bars on my clothes than the swoosh, personally.

I like being a select only few who wear adidas..Tennessee, Notre Dame, Nebraska all wear adidas....If a kid choose another school because of the name on the jersey then he has other issues.

I hope we go to under armour.....they are the top of the line....plus everyone wears their stuff anyway...why not go through them...or i would recommend Phiten and see if they wouldn't start to endorse college football teams

Stop :stop: Please, Under armor jerseys look like they were bought at K-Mart or something....Easily the cheapest made.

No matter what we will never get the same stuff Oregon get from nike, that's where the company started so they will always get the newest and best. i don't think many football players pick a school based on what company is giving them t-shirts, but as far as basketball players i have heard rumors when i was in high school of players not wanting to go to a certain school because of what shoes they will wear. i don't think having under armor will help us in BB much either though. i personally dont care too much.

I actually think Under Armour's jerseys are very nice actually...look at Maryland...their Jersey's are very nice....nothing K-Mart about them...if anything our addidas jersey's look like K-Mart brand. I would like to see what under armour could do with Tennessee's Jerseys, they might actually put some life into them...not saying that i dont like our jersey's but i wouldn't mind seeing trim on them
