Rodgers tweeted about putting checkerboards on the shoulders would be a good idea, not that Dooley would do it but that is just a players perspective!

tennessee doesn't need a change. i do like the black unis but only sparingly. i heard on the dan patrick show today which teams don't need a crazy uniform change. they mentioned ND, michigan. i think UT, alabama, and LSU shouldn't change. There is no perfecting the "T", or the numbers on bamas helmets. I think we should continue with adidas. God forbid they make state flag helmet like under armour did for maryland

Nike would be way better fan gear and shoe wise. Their clothing actually looks like something I would wear. I don't have alot of UT gear because alot of it looks cheap. The only Adidas I would ever wear are shell toes. I don't know anyone who likes Adidas. Young people like Nike unis and shoes. My friends and I all liked the Oregon and UGA unis but Maryland's were horrible. Is anyone who thinks Adidas clothing and shoes looks better under 40?

I have several UT addidas shirts I like. I dont ever wear tennis type shoes of any kind. I am 27.

I agee. I liked the Maryland jerseys though. FWIW Kirk just went on espn saying "believe it or not that's what these kids are looking for" That's what most of us have been saying the past 2 years. Tn will change and it wil probably be after everyone else, but they will have something crazy like checkerboard shoulders, or helmets. Its exciting, its fun, its different and it gets recruits attention. If you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you play good.

I have seen a couple ok UT shirts but the Nike stuff just looks better. I usually just buy anything that looks UT orange in the stuff I would wear any way. But I'm 30 and wear a bunch of different kinds of shoes. If I wear shoes to play ball it's Nike or Jordan. Same thing for casual sneakers except for some chucks or designer sneakers. I never see Adidas on the bball court or in a club people wear sneakers in.

Lol. That's called a paid endorsement. I saw Eric Berry at the club wearing Nike's all the time while he was in school playing for an Adidas school. Same with the rest of the players. They go to the mall and buy Jordan's and Nike's to go out in.

yes it's a paid endorsement but according to you and shadow he is either wearing inferior equipment or couldn't get a deal from Nike. Which one is it?

and when you play at the level EB does them your Jordans might matter. This is about gear used by actual athletes

Nike makes shoes with orange on them. Pretty sure the only Tennessee specific shoes Adidas makes are only worn by players. I could be wrong, but I have never seen Adidas UT shoes for sale. Then again, I'm not a big fan of Adidas shoes so I don't seek them out.

I'm 22 and only like Nike shoes over Adidas because I think they hold up better. Has nothing to do with the looks because I can find shoes of any brand that I think look good.

We might as well end this. It does no good. It's like Ford and Chevy. Delta and American Airlines. I wish we could see a good comparison of UT jerseys by both brands

I always wore addidas cleats. Did have a pair of nike running shoes. I dont hang out in clubs were people wear sneakers or at least not ones that have patrons worried about new sneakers.
