You're missing the obvious here, he's not really third string, never was. He was put there strategically by the staff to give him a redshirt.

What's the chance Worley doesn't eventually sustain an injury that sidelines him for at least a game or two? That's when this gets real. Is redshirting Dobbs worth taking a loss vs KY or Vandy? I think not.

Remember reading this same panicked thinking last season... Only it was over Riley Ferguson playing in the Kentucky game. Little early to start stocking the fallout shelter. :scare:

My logic is why play a senior who is doing nothing to help you win when you can play next yrs. starter who can do just as well and be better next yr.?

I agree. "IF" Worley is unable to continue forward and the this staff refuses to burn the RS for Dobbs, then they've just officially made the 2015 season a make or break year for themselves.

Problem is, we do not have another qb on the bench who can do just as well as Worley. Your logic is flawed. Worley has helped us win games. He is the qb the team has faith in.
