Adams Drops Another Elbow on Fulmer

Such a simple concept. Good players should see more playing time no matter what year they are.

Yeah...especially considering that EVERY team in our conference applies that concept...

I think playing the best players regardless of age or expereince is something I'm hoping for out of the new coach as much as being good at X's and O's, discipline, and recruiting

It's pretty much an invalid argument. Warren's lack of playing time is a little tough to figure out, but we've played plenty of Freshmen in the past.

That has been a problem with CPF teams from the git go. (minus a few starting qbs) Great talent and they do not know how to use them or will not use them untill they have paid their dues.

I have always wondered how long Peyton Manning would have rode the pine if Jerry Colquitt and Todd Helton hadn't got hurt.

We may not even remember his name. Pretty sad....

I think that article is pretty much dead on.

Good read.

I have been trying to figure this out all year.... I just dont understand how Fulmer or Clawson can justify this kid not playing.

CPF has pretty much always had a seniority order. Better talent sitting has never bothered him. After Rogan's breakout JV game, he responded by saying, "We didn't know he could do that". That's about it. Wonder how much playing time would have been affected for these former players if CPF had actually put the best players on the field from the get-go.

I know Fulmer has that senioity factor on him, but it just doesnt make sense. Oh well, BYE FULMER.....

Is dropping an elbow the same as a guitar shot to the head?..

I don't think so, but, of course, Lex is the expert.

My take...

When dropping an elbow the target is already down. A guitar shot is applied to the head while the target is standing. Thus, one is a cheap shot and the other is fair play. Or something like that...

Haha one of the responses under the article reads "15 yards for piling on"

The article makes a very good point though, why not at least put the kid on the field and throw him a few balls? what do we really have to lose?

If you happen to somehow get sentimental about losing Fulmer again...read this article...it makes you feel better.

Warren clearly had trouble blocking and catching early in the season at TE. It was obvious there was a problem in the UCLA game. If you struggle blocking, you can't play TE here, I just don't know what Clawson was thinking trying to make him do that.

So, I would have like to see Warren at wideout catching the slip and bubble screens and blocking soft corners for Taylor.

Taylor didn't seem to break many tackles this year on those plays but it's not all his fault. Those were solid tackles formed from lack of solid blocking.

I have wondered the same thine about Warren all year long....how could he do so well at FSU and not really even see the field here.

If the offense is so complicated that freshmen cannot play.....simplify it!

Guess it does not matter now.

It has obviously been so "complicated" that the whole roster cannot play....

You had it at "Throw him a few balls". We need someone that can do that.

Look back at the balls that were thrown to him and dropped. He needed to be able to block well in order to be allowed to drop balls (at TE)
