AD success criteria

Raise money. Keep our noses clean, but WIN BABY WIN. Win not only at football, basketball and baseball, but we need some NCs in other sports like tennis, golf, track and field, swimming and diving.

Hopefully not much of anything... if he's accomplished anything like a new hire in a major sport then we apparently whiffed on either Dooley, Martin, or the new baseball coach.

I suppose he could try and make our marketing quit being so embarrassing.

How about making consistently being ranked in the top ten of the NACDA Directors' Cup (Used to be the Sears Cup). Being ranked isn't something that you can sell recruits but it means many of your programs are top ten programs with a few NCs thrown in. Absolutely. And it should not be a 5 year window of success. It should be the foundation for decades of success. A clean program that wins and the money will be automatic.

He'll only get 5 years or so as his window of success. Patience is not a quality college athletic fans have a surplus of.

First indication of ANY player trouble off the team. I'm tired of having to hold grown-ups hands. My 2 year old grand son shows better decision making/ discipline than some of our athletes.
