Actually the date was set by Memphis I believe since they were the home team. No way UT wants to play at Memphis in the middle of the SEC schedule. Memphis puts the game in there so they get a top opponent in the middle of their putrid conference schedule.

Just wait and see...and by the way, I am not a bandwagon fan...I was a fan when you were just a twinkle in your fathers eye...I want to be a #1 seed, and win the NCAA just as much as any other fan, but be real, we are not the most respected team in the land, and for good reason, our past...I'm just breakin it down for you yo, that's how I roll!! :rock:

Tony Jones is in charge of scheduling. The game we had scheduled with Memphis is apparently the only choice we had if we wanted to play them. The AD you're blaming is the same AD who hired Pearl. And don't even say Tony Jones should be fired b/c that sir would be unwise.

By this rational the AD is also responsible for making us #1 also with his input and hiring of Pearl.

Are you serious? What game were you watching last night? I wouldn't exactly call it a debacle. All I saw was a game where Vandy barely beat a very tired TN team 72 hours after TN winning what may be the biggest game in school history...thus far. Vandy WILL NOT be selected a #2 seed ahead of UT!
