AD Hart interview

What do you want him to say? That CDD could lose his job next year and that they don't get along? Hart is smarter than that. He's not going to do anything that makes this program any less stable. That includes what he says to the media.

Really. It's like the coach telling his starting QB that he has his support right up to the point that he's yanked.

Thats true, but he could also be speaking the truth. Only time will tell.

Hart also used words like "disappointed," "unacceptable" and "not at Tennessee." So while there is support-- as there should be, as long as Dooley is the coach -- I also see a clear message that things need to improve NOW. I don't think Hart wants or intends to be disappointed with an unacceptable performance next year. JMO, of course.

UT AD Hart had an interview with the Chattanooga Times Free Press last week and in the interview he made it clear that he had a very good relationship with CCD. He also stated that he felt CDD was the right man to turn the program around. After reading the artica lI felt that CDD will not only be here next year but the after as well.

I thought it was clear what Hart is looking for is marked improvement for next year. We have 6 with the games we should win with the lighter schedule. Even 7 with the additional being a good quality win, which is one of the big games we got blown out in, and being competitive game to game would be improvement.

What do you want him to say? "Hell imma far his arse next yer!"

After the 2007 S.E.C. Championship game, didn't Hamilton extend Fulmer's contract and in less than a year, he fired him?
Just because Hart says this today in an interview, doesn't mean that it will be that way in a year.
A bad season and Dooley is in bad shape. A great season and Dooley has an extension and is a hero. It could go either way.

Agree. Hart is just talking the talk we all expect. Dooley is on the hot seat, it is put up or shut up next year. Personally I'm pulling for Dooley. I like him but I'm a realist. An LSU upset his first year or a bowl game this year and he would have bought himself another year at 6 or 7 wins. With zero quality wins and the egg we laid at KY, he unfortunately has no breathing room.

Here's to Dooley and staff turning it around starting with my second favorite team the Wolfpack! Hope we win but don't embarrass them.

yep, I also read it this way. Hart isn't expecting a perfect season, I believe he will allow CDD sufficient time, but showing improvement is a necessity.
