Yes just a little. I'm sick of hearing this dude mentioned as our HC in waiting basically. Not going to happen. He isn't Hart's guy. the same people saying this are the same people crying in other threads about how we have to hire a "proven HC". Smart is no where close to a proven HC. I suppose it COULD happen, but likely a 1% chance. IMO he will coach at UGA if anywhere else in the next 2-4 years. CMR will have to eventually be replaced and what better fit? UGA is pulling a UT with Fulmer, hanging on way too long. Only one program consistantly underachieves more than UT. That's UGA!!!!!!!

Looks to me like he's giving him great support hiring Sal. I think Dooley will be around after next year. He'll get the 8 wins to keep the train moving.

Dooley was never a coordinator, he just coached tightends and ST's If his name wasn't Dooley he never would have even got the La Tech job. He looks lost on the sidelines the LSU game (last year) UK(this year). He needs to learn when to challenge and when to use timeouts. Plus, who's in charge D. Rogers or the coaches? Also, is anything his fought or just the players and assts?

Kirby Smart is no different from Muschamp, Jimbo, Dooley or any of the other Sabanites....Saban has never won anything with a ****ty team.....This team has sucked the last few years talent wise...I'm not pro-Dooley or anti-Dooley but it is too early to tell what kinda coach he is....

1. Were you wanting Muschump over Dooley? Asking because you bashers bash Dooley's credentials but seem to have wanted someone with less credentials!! Include Kirby in this too.

2. Let's assume Saban is the greatest coach since well since Bear Bryant, What do you think UT would have done this year with Saban as HC and exactly the same personnel, injuries, etc.?

3. If UT wins 9+ games next year, how are you going to spin your bashing?

I first heard of Hart's intention after Christmas, and with bringing in Sal is just another part of his plan. Dooley is a dead man walking and does not have the street smarts to realize what is going on behind his back.

I think Dooley sees the writing on the wall. It doesn't mean he is gone but Hart is already implementing a transition plan. Dooley will have a chance to succeed this year but no more excuses.
