We need a Coach with the competitive juices and the testicular fortitude to seek out and destroy the competition from the top down.

No stinkin' Coach that's skeeered about having to play 'bama every year, one that relishes embarrassing their azz
come October.

Not to be " that guy" but there is only one that I can think of that "wants" to play Saban and that is Kiffin.

Yesterday in his presser he asked the reporters "did you hear what they(his team) were chanting?" "We want 'bama"

He said he wanted to play 'bama right now, there was no confusion, he meant beat them.

He knows he can get it done.

Butch and Dooley weren't afraid to play Bama they just got their butts handed to them everytime they did. We need a coach that can beat Bama get our program up to their level so we can compete.

we dont need kiffin, we need to close in and get our university back on track. bring miles in he knows the SEC and isnt afraid of bama. thats what we need not some punk.

IM so blessed that my God is a forgiving God! people hold grudges and will not forgive those who make a mistake. That is where hate comes from. Lane did UT wrong i agree but forgive and forget. I was mad then too. Now is the time to do the right thing and forgive him and give him another chance. You cant say he is immature because he uses twitter but wait other well respected people use twitter who are mature ie Phillip fulmer,Trump etc on and on.That is a weak excuse.Give him a change to instill excitement rite away and the university will benefit greatly. Seats will be Filled just as they were in 09.

Houston makes sense from a tier standpoint. He can step off to a P5 easily from there in say... 6 mos when he’s right in the middle of a recruiting trip.

If you think we are the laughing stock of the nation right now, wait until we botch this hire and don't hire Lane Kiffin. He is sitting there waiting to use his 3 years under Saban to tear apart his defenses with his unparalleled offense. We will suffer the consequences for decades especially if Lane goes to Arkansas or Auburn. We have a Saban disciple who just won the SEC championship in his second year with Georgia. Betcha Kiffin's offense can beat Smart's or Saban's defense and where would that put the Vols?
