42 years old and loving life.....even if our football team sucks right now. Of course, as I type this I have been drinking cucumber lemonade (with lemons I grew on my own lemon tree!) with vodka so that is why I may be loving life right now lol.

Are you familiar with Meyer lemons? Game changer with vodka. It's sort of like a lemon/tangerine combo. If you're ever in FL and see them in a store, buy a few, squeeze them in your drank, and save the seeds!

Whats it to you?
I wanted to learn two things. They relate to the two ends of the demographic spectrum.

1. How many of us here are old enough to have watched General Neyland leading our lads on the field? Anyone 76 or older could have attended a Neyland-led game and been old enough at the time to remember it. Turns out, we have at least five brothers and sisters that age with us. That's pretty cool.

and...

2. How many of us on the board are young? Like high school or college young? I've been told none of the younger folk are here. That these types of boards don't appeal to today's youth at all. Nevertheless, there are at least a dozen younger Vols with us. So as a generalization, what I was told is true. But as an absolute statement, it's false.

That's what's it to me. :)

Whatever it takes brother. Roll with it! UT football...it’s a game, not real life. I don’t let it get to me either.

54. Old enough to remember when UT was great in the early to mid ‘90s. Made several trips to the hill from MTSU. My 24 year old son never witnessed UT winning 10 games.

I've never been to Bryant-Denny, but I'm old enough to have seen us whip some Crimson Tide butt at Legion Field (what a dump!) in Birmingham '97. I remember talking to some very humble Bama fans before the game who held out no hope of even playing us a close game. I guess you could say things have flipped.

... I still remember Peyton conducting the band after the game. Good times.

Tuscaloser in '99. Teedaddy whupped dat ass.

A shame. My daddy took me to Bryant Denny in 99 and I can vividly remember a drunken fan of ours chanting 5 in a row! over and over and over. Seems like a million years now.

view from upper deck was great ...
had code to legion field with 5 tiders ... and, fortunately for me, it was a logjam getting out
i did make it home

I know the feeling. The fist time I can remember beating them was 1982. I was 18 at the time. We beat them when I was 6 but I don’t remember it. Then went until I was 18 when we finally beat them again Not good when most of your family is Alabubba fans. Still Proud to Be A Vol
Ahhhhhh. During the 1982 World's Fair. The foreign visitors had no idea what just happened.
