I was just thinking I should become an achievement whore this weekend, gonna try to get to 1k in NCAA 07, I've been thinking about getting College Hoops but I've never really played any basketball game, is it pretty easy to learn?

How is 2K7? Is it better than the EA version of College Basketball

On both 2k7 Hoops games there is an easy way to get them. Just up all your sliders and down the CPUs and your in business :)

I got 18 ach in one game doing that. On the NBA play with the west allstars and get Yao, Kobe, Duncan, Marion, Nash, and KG ach in one game.

The final score was 393-2 :rock:

Wow, that really goes to shows how meaningless achievements are. I've never gone out of my way to get one and have never bothered to see what all but one or two games have for achievements. I checked the first game or two to see what they were about. Never bothered to look at any of the others.

Guess if I get bored and have extra time I might in the future. Odds of having that time is slim to none, though.

I love achievements, personally I think they are the best addition to videogames in a long long time. Sometimes you do have to get a little creative with how to get some (I'll be turning off the offsides call so I can finally block a punt:whistling:) but overall I think they add a great deal of depth and challenge to almost every game, plus an added sense of accomplishment

Agreed. It's a great addition to games and people seem to love it. I certainly have no problems with them being there.
