The sky is falling mentality....the right hire will fix everything. National signing day is Feb 15 or later......it will be balls to the wall but the hires will make an impact on recruiting....if it doesn't then we have hired wrong.....or at the wrong time. You are looking at recruiting in Nov. we know how kids change their minds.....let this go for a while ...... Everybody is so busy looking at the negative of this program and not the positive.

No matter how you look at the glass, half empty or full, there are a lot of other teams who are doing better. And a lot of them are teams we play. We must recruit better and a coaching change will be needed.

these kids change their minds on a daily basis. Not worried. The next coach will go get a better one

Wow...some people want to bash Dooley so bad that they have no qualms with making themselves look extremely ignorant in the process...

The current rankings have nothing to do with his recruiting ability...it's a reflection of his current job status

And that's what I was referring to in the op, Hart needs to do something regarding the coaching staff: he either needs to voice his support for the team and the coaching staff... or he needs to replace the coaching staff, AND voice his support for the team. Yet, he remains in silence, which is hurting the team and the recruiting process.

GBO!!!

According to the latest Scout.com recruiting rankings, the Vols are ranked:

28th in the NCAA

12th in the SEC

Kameron Miles has committed to T A&M after de-committing from the Vols. My fear is, that if Hart does not get his head out of the sand and hire an SEC-caliber coaching staff... Miles will be just the first - of the best of our recruits - to make the decision to go to better-coached programs.

I have been a Big Orange fan for about fifty years, and I have never felt the need for a coaching change as badly I do now. Yeah, it was time for Fulmer to go, but he could coach rings around Dudley Dooley... at least his teams could beat Vandy and Kentucky consistently.

I've been watching UT recruiting for about 50 years, and know its a long way to NSD, but unless Hart does something about the coaching staff, our recruiting will continue to go down the toilet.

Go Big Orange!!!

Didn't A&M just beat Bama, that might provide a little motivation

These threads are designed to produce nothing positive, only b!tching. It has been understood that we need a new coach since after the Florida game. If you have followed recruiting at all this year you would know that it is a down year.

Also "Scout" is like taking recruiting advice from a toddler.

Shouldn't you be starting threads defending Dooley?

Shouldn't you be coming out of the closet, Small Mind?

I retired from the Army and my after-Army job, and I would never use your own name Grasshuffer, I have my own.

What was your name two months ago, sockpuppet?

I was worried about Miles after his visit to A&M. He seemed to have really liked it and I felt he was lost then. I really don't think it would have mattered unless they had done this a month ago and made a big splash hire.

GBO VFL!!!!
