UNC
(7-5, 4-4 ACC)

Tennessee
(6-6, 3-5 SEC)

What in those numbers ^^^ makes you think anyone outside of TN/NC would care much?

Of course it is only 25th, no one but Vols fans are going to enjoy the beating we put on the Tar Heels.

Well UT is still a program with a lot of tradition and they are in the best conference in America. Fresno St versus NIU, really?

Worst of all (one of worst OF ALL TIME, IMO) is the "let's give Nebraska a free bowl win" Holiday Bowl. Like the blurb says, they not only played this game already, Neb won it 56-21. :snoring:

LOL - you gotta be kidding me...
14. Liberty Bowl, Georgia (6-6) vs. UCF (10-3), Dec. 31: UCF is strong defensively and has a solid offense. There is a lot of noise being made about the Big East looking at the Knights as an expansion target, and beating a team from the SEC sure wouldn't hurt. Georgia's pass-catch combination of Aaron Murray and A.J. Green is one of the best.

These rankings are absolutely garbage.

The Grid bits section at the bottom of the article is a little shocking. Talks about how the FCS seeds the top 20 for the playoff (kinda like BCS rankings) and #2,4,6,7,8 would already be eliminated. Bowl rankings are ridiculous but I found the last part interesting.

25. Tennessee vs. UNC
22. Fresno St. vs. Northern Illinois
20. East Carolina vs. Maryland
18. Florida vs. Penn State
17. Navy vs. San Diego St
16. BC vs. Nevada
14. UGA vs. UCF

You mean you haven't been waiting all year to see Fresno St. vs. Northern Illinois?!?!?!

Also, I'm sure more people are going to tune in to see the Navy vs. SD St thriller than Florida vs. Penn State.

that list should be given less credit than lady gaga's political opinions....

it has the orange bowl at #3....could anybody care less about a bowl between a team that lost to a division I-AA team and a team with maybe 20,000 fans and the 4th largest fan base in its own STATE?

According to JVol76 it's the most interesting bowl game because he doesn't give a damn about the rest. And this should matter to people about as much as what Rivals, ESPN or any of the other so-called experts think.

This poll was obviously handed off to some intern to complete about 25 minutes before deadline.

CT vs. OU is the worst by far. Damn Big East should NOT get an automatic bid!

They never disclosed where their ranking ranked in interest. I'd say last.

That's one better (25 times 2) than our 51st ranking as a team. Yippee!!
