According to Jay Bilas

You know what's weird? I actually l, like, you know...looked up the teams from the last 2 years that played in the "first 4" games...in other words they represented the last 4 at large teams selected...but you know what? It alwas funny...I didn't find any teams that matter at all in terms of tix sales or anything else...well, here are the teams...it seems.obvious..let me know if you want the teams who were on the consensus bubble...please, will you ask me to provide that also? :) it is interesting

last 4 in last 2 years--->clemson, uab, vcu, usc, byu, iona, cal, s fla

LOL
That is not 100% accurate. The first 4 games represent the lower seeds, but not always the last 4 selected. Tennessee is absolutely on the bubble, but we will not be one of the lowest seeds if we make it. Liberty has been in almost a week, but may very well be the last seed in the tourney.

I realize you are talking about at large teams, but like I said, bubble teams rarely seem to be the lowest seeds. Not sure how they determine who will play in the play in games.

Zanstad? Lieutenant? Bobcat? Where are you? Care to explain why the committee is choosing teams like Iona and VCU to fill the bracket lately?

Bueller? Bueller?

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here, but say maybe because Iona won their conference tourney and gets an at large, thats why they're being included???

Winning a conference tourney gets you an automatic bid, not an at-large. The term "at-large" literally means you didn't win an automatic bid, and last year Iona was chosen at-large over teams like Arizona.

That's what I meant, which is why I said won their conference tourney, sorry for confusion man.
