According to Hubbs, Currie on West Coast

I really think Neal Brown is a great coach. Idk how he would fair at handling a program this big with this much baggage but I think he's going to be successful somewhere soon.

Bill Clark is better. I agree though, Neal Brown is a good coach. Both will be P5 very soon.

I've had ENOUGH! Geez! I'll take one for the team and coach the Vols for 41 million. 5 year deal. And naming Yosemite Sam as my DC and Hillary Clinton as my OC nobody is more offensive

Talking with Pete Carroll

Who could he be meeting with on the west coast? Unlikely to be Tee or David Shaw as they will be coaching in the PAC-12 Champ Game tomorrow.

Petersen seems highly unlikely?
The Pirate?
Wittingham?
Taggart?

Thoughts?
Tee

Or we may have Brohm. Just waiting till after Dec. 5th to save a million on the buyout. Not what I would have done, but they have done some crazy things at UT.

Great. That’ll really enhance Brohm’s reputation. Screw that guy. He’s good and I’d be satisfied with him, but he’s not Nick Saban who you refuse to take no for an answer from or make him say yes. We’ve been to the well of rejection for Mike Gundy and came out looking like idiots again. Brohm can eat it. I haven’t seen anyone outside of Clay or Basilio confirm the “Bev” stole the contract story, and I have a hard time believing that a guy who couldn’t get a yes from Dave Doeren could get one from Jeff Brohm

If it’s not Tee, it’s likely Rich Rod. Haslam loves to go back to the well and Rich Rod almost took the job in 2012, but didn’t want to leave AZ after one year.

If they offer him the same deal that they offered Gundy, he should take it.

Depends on how confident he is of his coaching abilities. If he is afraid he can't succeed in the SEC, he won't take it. and they will match what we offer.Someone is not doing a good sales pitch of what UT has to offer. Yes we have been down the last 11 years but before that many top ten teams. We want to get back to that, and you are the man for the job. I just feel he is out there making offers and not selling the university enough. And also the fact in recent years the state of Tn has produced a lot of very good football players. UT has a lot to offer for a good coach. Those not taking it in my opinion have doubts of their coaching ability in the SEC. Many times we have 3 or more teams in the top 10, and they are afriad of this. Just my opinion.

I’d love it if it were Leach. Guy wins. Needs a DC though. If nothing else, the press conferences would be a riot. Apparently you can ask him anything and expect a response. I’ve laughed at this for ten minutes...

Now several folks, including someone at Washington St., tell me Currie interviewed Mike Leach & possibly 1-2 other candidates today in the Los Angeles area
