According to Da'Rick

Glad you're not our coach, also glad we have a coach who cares more about these kids as people than as football players.

You are crazy if you think we are a better team without Rogers. SJ is spot on and idk why everyone is giving him crap. Honestly I'd rather have a coach who could give me a winning season above all else.

There are several other positions that concern me more than WR. With or without DR we still have a lot of talent at the WR position, and it is only arguable as to how much that talent changes without him. We haven't seen the new kids yet.

We have as little proven and experienced talent at WR as any position on the team.

You're correct in that I don't have a spreadsheet tabulating offseason attrition for all major NCAA football programs, but ultimately we're a rebuilding program, have been for a few years, yet can't hold onto coaches or some of our most talented players. That is not a good thing, and I can't fathom how anyone can think it is.

^ doesn't care if that coach wasn't getting the job done, or if the player is a cancer to the team, just hold onto them.

This entire discussion will be moot by the end of this season anyway. If Dooley falls on his face and the team hovers around .500, he's gone.

If Rogers stays, is productive (regardless of our record), he will most likely leave for the draft.

This year tells the tale. I have decided to see how it pans out and hope for the best.

I agree, no doubt.

I agree about the proven talent part, but we have a lot of WR's coming into this class that we haven't even seen yet. That's why I said it is only arguable at this time as to what impact it will have. Not saying it won't have a major impact, just saying we don't know right now.

I'm just saying that right now....today....I want to know how our team looks in pads....with or without DR. The WR spot unfortunately may take several months before we know. Hope not, but likely.

Hubbs said that Da'Rick had not completed punishment conditioning, and until he does he will remain suspended.

Darick would have to sit out if he transferred to Ga. State and as of right now he isn't academically eligible.

I don't think it's academic. Dooley says he could be back today once he takes care of stuff.

Leads me to believe that he does have some conditioning work he has to do, and he's just been lazy or stubborn about doing it.
